Include these details

  • Phone model and Android version
  • Watch model and Wear OS version (if the issue involves the watch)
  • Sensor make and model (e.g. Wahoo TICKR, Polar H10, Garmin speed/cadence)
  • A screenshot or short description of the issue
  • Any exact error message shown by the app

Common issues

  • Sensors won't appear when scanning: Grant the Bluetooth and Location permissions in Android Settings, make sure the sensor is awake (rotate the crank, breathe on the HR strap), and confirm it isn't already paired to another app holding the connection.
  • Watch heart rate not showing on the phone: Both the phone and watch apps must be installed and the devices must be paired in the Wear OS app. The connection uses Google Play Services' Wearable Data Layer — open the watch app once after install so it can complete pairing.
  • Ride not appearing in Health Connect: Open the phone app and grant all the Health Connect permissions it requests (exercise, heart rate, speed, distance, cycling cadence). You can review and revoke any of them at any time from Health Connect's settings on your phone.
  • Recording stopped when the screen turned off: Allow the app to run in the background and ensure the foreground-service notification is not blocked. Battery optimizations may need to be disabled for the app on some devices.
  • GPS distance or speed looks wrong: Give GPS a minute of clear sky to settle at the start of a ride, and grant the "Allow all the time" location option if your device prompts for it.
